Something that I will miss about home.

Something that I will miss about home...

Home. Maison. Casa. Huis. . Koti. Physically it's seen as different word in every language, however universally it evokes similar feelings. 'Home' is where the; heart is, family is, cat is and where the wifi connects automatically. For the majority 'Home' symbolises a familiar, safe place filled with wonderful memories.

However this weekend I am leaving my 'Home' and moving to London to start University. The time has finally come to start packing up my room in preparation to move into my university accommodation. I'm excited for this new chapter in my life, but I found myself filled with nostalgia whilst packing up my things.

I will miss a lot of things about 'Home', obviously i'll miss my mum, dad, sister etc... but I will also miss the small things. I'll miss waking up to a bustling house filled with energy. I'll miss my cats. I'm not a crazy cat lady however falling asleep without a familiar ball of fluff curled up on my bed will be weird. One of the things that I'll miss the most are weekly trips to starbucks with my Grandma. During this time she'll moan about how she's convinced that her neighbours are putting rocks into her garden, fill me in on the latest drama on 'Dickinson's real deal' and laugh whilst she tells me old stories of my Granddad.

I'm excited to move to London and I can't wait to start this new adventure but I will miss the familiarities of 'Home'

P.s.
My Grandma has informed me that she'll find out if the 52 bus can take her to London after its final stop at Marston Green so maybe i'll see her soon...
